  4.           This  READ.ME file  contains a  description of  the files  on the
  5.           disk. It also  includes instructions on how to print out the very
  6.           brief manual and install PopDBF on a hard disk.

  8.           Files on the disk:
  9.  
  10.           INSTALL.EXE -  PopDBF hard disk installation program.  To install
  11.                          PopDBF on your hard  disk, put the PopDBF diskette
  12.                          into a floppy disk drive (i.e. A:) and type:
  13.  
  14.                                    a:INSTALL
  15.  
  16.                          where directory  is the hard disk  directory where
  17.                          you  want  the  PopDBF  program  and  other  files
  18.                          copied.    If  the specified  directory  does  not
  19.                          exist,  it  will  be  created.    The  INSTALL.EXE
  20.                          program itself is NOT copied to the hard disk.

  22.           INSTALL.FIL -  The script file for the INSTALL program
  23.              
  24.           POPAID.DOC  -  Short  documentation file  for PopAID,  the PopDBF
  25.                          companion program to create databases.
  26.  
  27.           POPAID.EXE  -  Companion program for PopDBF,  which allows you to
  28.                          create any  dBase .DBF  database.   Works  exactly
  29.                          like dBase CREATE command.
  30.  
  31.           POPCFG.EXE  -  The  PopDBF  configuration  program  to  configure
  32.                          colors and hotkeys.
  33.  
  34.           POPDBF.EXE  -  The PopDBF program.   Run POPDBF /H for  help with
  35.                          options.

  37.           POPDBF.DOC  -  This is  the PopDBF  manual, which can  be printed
  38.                          out  by typing  the following  command at  the DOS
  39.                          prompt:

  41.                                    copy a:popdbf.doc prn
  42.  
  43.           POPDBF.HLP  -  PopDBF   context  sensitive  help   file  used  by
  44.                          POPDBF.EXE program.
  45.  
  46.           POPDBF.HST  -  History  of PopDBF  development, features  and bug
  47.                          fixes.  Also previews future features.
  48.  
  49.           READ.ME     -  This file.
  50.  
  51.           REGISTER.DOC-  Information  on how  to order  PopDBF.   There are
  52.                          separate forms and instructions for  ordering from
  53.                          the US, Europe and Australia.  To use this file to
  54.                          register PopDBF, type the following command at the
  55.                          DOS prompt:

  57.                                    copy a:register.doc prn
  58.  
  59.           VENDOR.DOC  -  Contains Bowen Software's distribution  policy for
  60.                          disk vendors.
  61.  
  62.           WHATS.NEW   -  The  segment  from  POPDBF.HST   (the  development
  63.                          history  file) that  pertains specifically  to the
  64.                          new release.
